How big is the prize pool?
The prize pool varies each semester based on company sponsorships. The more companies that participate, the bigger the pool. We announce the total at the start of each hackathon.
Who can compete?
Any currently enrolled Marquette University student. You must be an AI Forge member to participate.
Do I need a team?
Teams of 3–5 are required. If you don't have a team, we'll help you find one at our pre-hackathon mixer.
What do I need to bring?
Just your laptop. We provide everything else — Claude API access, workspace, food, and mentors.
How are projects judged?
A panel of industry professionals and sponsoring company reps evaluates projects on technical execution, problem-fit, and presentation.
